2017 List of Most Expensive Players:
The VIVO IPL 10 has finally begun with the successful
completion of the IPL Auction 2017.Spending over 911 million INR, the
IPL auction ended with teams buying 66 players from an extensive list of 351.
These 66 include 39 Indian players and 27 overseas players, with Ben Stokes
leading the table with the highest bid ever for an overseas player in the IPL. The
VIVO IPL Auction commemorated on February 20, 2017, in Bengaluru. Indian
Premier League 2017 has 140 players retained by their respective teams under
the player retention policy. The remaining 352 players were auctioned, and
there were many shocking bids and some high-intensity bidding wars that people
witnessed. The highest paid players in IPL 10 auction were mainly non-Indians,
and Karn Sharma became the biggest Indian buy at Rs 3.2 crore.The list

1.Ben Stokes:

Rs 14.5 crore
Benjamin Andrew "Ben"
Stokes is an international cricketer who plays for England and is the current
vice captain of the English Test team. Born and raised in Christchurch, New
Zealand, he moved to northern England at the age of 12. Sunrisers
Hyderabad also fought for the talented cricketer with a big of Rs 13.5 crore,
however, Rising Pune Supergiants bagged the deal for a whopping Rs 14.5 crore.
Ben Stokes became the highest paid foreigns player in the history of IPL. Benjamin Andrew Stokes of England is the most expensive
player this season, but is only the fourth most-expensive player since the IPL
started in 2008 – Yuvraj Singh still leads that table.
2.Tymal Mills

Rs 12 crore
Tymal Solomon Mills is an English
cricketer who currently plays for Sussex. Kings
XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians brought up Mills’ price to 7-8 crore from a base
price of Rs 50 lakhs. Royal Challengers Bangalore entered late and bagged the
fast bowler at Rs 12 crore.
3.Trent Boult

Trent Alexander Boult is a
professional cricket player from New Zealand who plays as a bowler and tail end
batsman for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL, Northern Districts in the New
Zealand domestic league, and New Zealand internationally. He first played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2015 and 16
editions. Boult has made a name for himself
as a threat to batsmen with his ability to move the ball both ways, being a
left-arm fast bowler.
4.Kagiso Rabada

Kagiso Rabada is a South African
international cricketer. Rabada, who is known by the nickname KG, is a fast
bowler and plays domestic cricket for the Highveld Lions. With
a base price of Rs 1 crore, Rabada gained attention from Virender Sehwag, who
wanted to secure the bowler for Kings XI Punjab. However, Delhi played the
waiting game to perfection and won the deal at Rs 5 crore. He picked up 15 wickets versus Australia and 19 against Sri
Lanka in the Test series while in ODIs, he has continued his good form. This is
the first time that he will be playing in the IPL.
5.Pat Cummins

Patrick James "Pat"
Cummins is an Australian cricketer. A fast bowler, he made his Test debut at
age 18 and plays domestic cricket for New South Wales. Cummins is a fast bowler
who regularly bowls faster than 145 km/h. They had identified
23-year-old Australian Pat Cummins as one of their top targets and were willing
to spend 4.5 crores on him. With a base price of Rs 2 crore, Pat Cummins
created a bidding war between Delhi and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
